Catch Up and a mid-book review

Hi everyone!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted so much recently, a lot is happening. First of all, I want to say that I spoke to my crush haha - yes, I went up to him- and I'm very proud of myself.

Secondly, the time is not enough to post as much as I would like.

Moving on...

I wanted to talk about the trilogy The Selection. Kiera Cass did an amazing job writing those novels, they were a few of my favourites without a doubt.

I'm now reading The Hear and don't really think it was as amazing as the other three. Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying it and I will finish it.

Tell you more about my thoughts of it when I finish it - maybe do an actual review about the book.

Trying New Things

Hi everyone!

So today I wanted to talk about something more personal.

You see, ever since I was little, when I wanted to do something, I would do whatever it took to do it, even if that ment going to the ends of the earth.

I got the example from my grandad. My mum once told me that he really wanted to travel to a place, so he just packed his bag and went alone. He would spend the hole day exploring and when it was night and didn`t have a place to stay, he would rent a cheap room. When it dawned, you could already find him out and about. That carried on until he had no more places to visit and went home.

I want to try new stuff and I think my age allows it, but when I ask to try something different, my feedback is ``It`s just a fase``. I can`t even describe how angry that makes me! The truth is that I will never know if it`s a fase if I don`t try it.

The last thing I want to do is to be safe and always do what I always did, because that just makes life boring. Life is so much more than things you already know and do everyday.

This `new thing` is actually no big deal, it`s dance. My father`s side of the family does not agree with me doing it but my mother`s don`t mind. 

When my parents` friends are over and ask them what I wanted to try out, they always reply ``She wants to do dance`` like that`s a bad thing!

Anyways, some months ago he said to me that in August he would try and put me in a dance school, so I just hope it works out well.

Mac TOLEDO blush

Hi everyone!

     Today I'm here to talk about Mac's Toledo blush - the one I have is in the shade Kindergarten Red.

     I haven't seen many reviews about this product so I thought maybe this could help some people out there.

   

     I really like this blush because it looks very natural - it doesn't have shimmer o anything- and pretty when it's on. It's very buildable and has great staying power, too. I've recieved loads of compliments when I wore it so that must mean something, right? Haha.

     I believe this line has 3 shades of blush (sorry if I'm wrong) but I thought this one was the best for my skin color. I'm quite pale, but I do think this particular one would work on various others. Plus, the packaging is adorable!

     The ombre idea was cool because you could maybe use the top part as a highlighter. Bare in mind that it will not be as pigmented or as shimmery as the - for example- Mary-lou manizer by The Balm but it is nice for a very gentle look.

  

     The only downside is that it doesn't have a mirror, but I guess not many blushes by Mac have them.

     If you tested this out, let me know your opinion. Hope this helped!

Introduction

Hi everyone,

     This is my first post on this blog so I just wanted to briefly introduce myself (if you want to know more, I have an 'About Me' page).

     I'm Lia, and I've created this blog because I wanted a space where I could talk about whatever and people would have a choice to read it or not haha, besides that, I also loooove to write (yes, my love is so big that it deserves the amount of o's).
